AGENT OF PEACE

Eglantina is the President and Founder of Proyecto Paz Latino América, a non-profit that uses soccer to empower young girls in vulnerable communities. She's continuously commissioned by the United Nations as an Agent of Peace.

In 2010, Eglantina founded PROJECT PEACE LATIN AMERICA (PPLA). A non profit that uses soccer to educate and empower young girls living in vulnerable communities throughout the region to become agents of peace. Eglantina has built an extensive network of high profile individuals and companies who help implement impactful programs in Venezuela, Haiti, The Dominican Republic, Mexico and Colombia.

Empowering Young Girls

PPLA uses soccer to foster the development of young girls promoting respect, tolerance, solidarity, leadership, discipline, teamwork, and gender equality. Sports education is a powerful and economically sound tool to empower and cultivate peace and inclusion.
